Zia Angelina Health Centre III recorded remarkable progress during the year, particularly in strengthening emergency and maternity services. With generous support from UPLANET, a non-governmental organization from Spain, the Centre acquired an ambulance and essential theatre equipment to enhance the maternity wing and improve access to emergency care.
The ambulance has strengthened the Centre’s capacity to respond to emergencies and facilitate timely referrals, while the theatre equipment will contribute to improved maternal and surgical services. This support has significantly enhanced service delivery, patient safety, and the quality of care provided to mothers and other patients.
