Namugongo Social Services Organisation (NASSO) is a community-based non-governmental organisation operating in Namugongo, Uganda. Inspired by the values of the Focolare Movement, we deliver integrated programs that address poverty, disease, and social exclusion.
Through our health centre, nutrition programme, and socio-economic development initiatives, we serve thousands of families, orphans, people living with HIV/AIDS, and vulnerable youth each year.

Healthcare
Zia Angelina Health Centre III provides outpatient and inpatient medical care, laboratory services, maternity care, ultrasound, dental care, and ART (HIV/AIDS) clinic to thousands of patients every year.

Arcobaleno Nutrition and ECD Centre serves vulnerable children aged 3–5 years through nutritional support, pre-primary education, and holistic development programmes targeting the most at-risk families.

Livelihoods
Our livelihoods programme empowers women and youth through vocational training, village savings groups, agricultural skills, environmental conservation, and psychosocial support.
Learn moreNASSO focuses its programmes on the most vulnerable members of the Namugongo community — those who need support most and have the fewest resources to help themselves.
Children who have lost one or both parents, or who lack adequate care, receive nutrition, education, and psychosocial support.
Families and individuals living below the poverty line receive skills training, savings support, and access to income-generating opportunities.
Young people lacking formal employment access our vocational training programmes to gain marketable trades and life skills.
Our ART clinic and community support programmes ensure people living with HIV/AIDS receive treatment, care, and dignity.
Community members of all ages access affordable, quality healthcare at Zia Angelina Health Centre III, seven days a week.
Expectant mothers receive antenatal care, safe delivery services, and postnatal support for healthy pregnancies and newborns.
